Check the Work-Surface and Room Clearances

Before choosing a configuration, measure the available wall width, overall height and cabinet depth. For a flip-down section, check the space in front of the cabinet as well as the clearance needed for the panel to open fully. Make sure the open surface will not conflict with nearby seating, walkways, doors or other furniture.

Consider how the unit will be used from day to day. A laptop and notebook need a different arrangement from a media setup with devices and accessories.
